Women should get themselves involved in breast cancer screening- teacher Mantey Hemaa

The Kontihemaa of Teacher Mantey, Nana Owiredua Asiedu Opoku I has advised all women to get involved in regular breast cancer screening to avoid them of having the cancer.

The Ohemaa of teacher Mantey who organized the maiden edition of breast cancer awareness month celebration in the town said, she was expecting the youths to show up more but the turn out was low.

Nana Owiredua Asiedu Opoku I in an interview with the media said, she is happy she was able to organize such a program for her community. Again she hinted that that screening was not for breast cancer alone but also prostate cancer.

As the leader of the community, she advised her fellow women to go to hospitals for check up whenever they see changes in their breast.
