Francis Appiah has raised serious concerns over the recent recruitment and posting process for health workers in Ghana, accusing the Health Minister of misleading Ghanaians regarding employment opportunities within the health sector.

According to Francis Appiah, the online recruitment portal introduced for the posting process was allegedly used in a manner that prevented many qualified health workers from gaining employment. He stated that many applicants had high expectations after several public assurances from the Minister, yet numerous qualified professionals remain unemployed and frustrated.

Francis Appiah further criticized the Minister’s approach, claiming that there has been excessive public talk with little action to address the real concerns of health workers. He called on the government and the Presidency to intervene and ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in the recruitment and posting process.

He also appealed to authorities to prioritize the welfare of unemployed health professionals and restore confidence in the system.
