NKORANZA SOUTH NDC SHOULD NOT BE MONOPOLIZED BY AN INDIVIDUAL – FRANCIS APPIAH FUMES
Nkoranza South, Bono East Region – Prominent youth advocate and political activist, Francis Appiah, has called on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nkoranza South Constituency to reject what he describes as attempts by certain individuals to monopolize the affairs of the party.
Speaking during interactions with party members during registration of party members and supporters, Francis Appiah stressed that the NDC is a democratic political organization built on the collective sacrifices of thousands of members and therefore should not be treated as the personal property of any individual or group.
According to him, the strength of the party lies in unity, inclusiveness, and equal opportunities for all members to contribute to decision-making processes and leadership development.
“The NDC in Nkoranza South belongs to every card-bearing member, from the grassroots to the constituency executives. No single person should be allowed to monopolize the party or dictate its direction for personal interests,” he stated.
Mr. Appiah expressed concern that growing perceptions of favoritism and exclusion could undermine party cohesion and weaken efforts to mobilize supporters ahead of future elections. He urged party executives, branch leaders, and stakeholders to promote transparency, fairness, and internal democracy.
He further emphasized that sustainable political success can only be achieved when every member feels valued, respected, and included in the party’s activities.
“The future of the NDC in Nkoranza South depends on our ability to work together as one family. We must create room for fresh ideas, new leadership, and active participation from all members,” he added.
Francis Appiah also called on the rank and file of the party to remain vigilant and committed to the core principles of accountability, grassroots empowerment, and collective leadership.
Political observers within the constituency believe the comments may spark renewed discussions about party organization, leadership accountability, and member participation as the NDC continues to strengthen its structures across the constituency.
The remarks have generated conversations among party supporters, with many calling for greater unity and collaboration to ensure the continued growth and electoral success of the NDC in Nkoranza South.
