Apprentices in Asene-Manso Akroso Receive Tools and Gears Under Govt’s National Apprenticeship Programme

Beneficiaries of the government’s National Apprenticeship Programme in Asene-Manso Akroso district, Eastern Region, have received working tools and gears to kickstart their training.

The items, handed over to master craftsmen and women, include industrial sewing machines, helmets, safety boots, welding machines, and other equipment.

Eastern Regional coordinator, Mr. Emmanuel Asante, emphasized that the tools must be used for their intended purpose and assured apprentices of a monthly allowance.

D.C.E Hon. Eric Ahinakwa urged beneficiaries to take care of the equipment and appreciate the president’s efforts, encouraging them to learn from each other and seize the opportunity.

The programme aims to equip young people with practical skills and improve employability. The tools and gears are expected to enhance the learning experience and boost confidence in their chosen trades.
