Akyem Batabi Gets New Queen Mother

The Akyem Batabi Traditional Council has enstooled Obaapanin Nketia Afriyie as the new Queen Mother of Akyem Batabi, under the Nifa Division of Akyem Abuakwa State.

The ceremony was marked with traditional rituals and customs.

During her swearing-in, Obaapanin Nketia Afriyie pledged to serve with respect, humility, humanity, and dignity, promising to work for the betterment of the Batabi township.

She took an oath of allegiance to the Batabi chief, swearing to uphold her duties with dedication and commitment, except in cases of accident or death.

The Akyem Batabi Traditional Council hopes the new Queen Mother will bring wisdom, guidance, and prosperity to the community.
