Elder Paul Perkoh Throws Weight Behind Kennedy Agyapong’s Presidential Bid

Elder Paul Perkoh, the 2024 independent presidential candidate, has officially endorsed Kennedy Agyapong’s bid to become the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flag bearer.
In an interview with Kaakyire Akwasi Yeboah, Elder Perkoh urged NPP delegates to vote for Agyapong on January 31, 2026, citing his ability to “rescue Ghana” and deliver on his promises.
“Kennedy Agyapong is the man Ghana needs at this time,” elder Perkoh said. “He is a man of his word, and whatever he says, he delivers. He has the vision and the capacity to turn Ghana’s economy around and create opportunities for our youths.”
Elder Perkoh highlighted Agyapong’s business background as a key strength, noting that his companies have employed many young Ghanaians. “If he becomes president, he will establish more businesses in the country, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth,” elder Perkoh said.
He also emphasized Agyapong’s integrity, stating that he is “not corrupt and ready to rule the country well.”
The endorsement comes as Agyapong’s campaign gains momentum, with his promises of economic growth, job creation, and anti-corruption measures resonating with many Ghanaians.
Agyapong’s supporters see him as a dynamic leader who can bring much-needed change to the country’s economic landscape.
