NPP delegates urged to vote for Bryan Acheampong as Flagbearer

Former Abuakwa South Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Yaw Boakye Yiadom, has urged the party’s delegates to elect Bryan Acheampong as flagbearer to lead them into the 2028 general elections.

The New Patriotic Party has scheduled January 31, 2026, to elect its new leader, where 20,000 delegates are expected to participate.

According to Boakye Yiadom, Bryan Acheampong is the only candidate who can snatch the presidential seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) come 2028.

He added that President John Dramani Mahama is not contesting the 2028 election, and the NDC will present a new candidate who is not known by Ghanaians, and believes that if the NPP delegates also favour Bryan Acheampong as a new candidate, he would secure victory for the NPP in the 2028.
