Empowering Youth, Enhancing Communities in Agona West

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has once again demonstrated its commitment to Youth Empowerment and Community Development in Agona West. As the Youth Organizer, I am proud to announce the latest initiatives aimed at equipping young party members with valuable skills, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting self-sufficiency.

Recently, I had the privilege of sponsoring two dedicated party members to acquire handy skills in Agona Nyakrom. These individuals, whose parents are esteemed branch women organizers, are *undergoing training in *Hairdressing and Seamstress Skills*. I personally covered their apprenticeship fees and provided additional support to ensure their successful training. This gesture not only empowers these young individuals but also honors their families’ contributions to the party.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to provide skills training opportunities to youth across Agona West. Earlier, 10 individuals from Upper Bobikuma benefited from similar training programs in various fields. My goal is to extend this opportunity to every Electoral Area, ensuring equal access to entrepreneurship and skills development.

In line with our party’s vision, I have also launched the “Youth Ghetto Connect” initiative. This grassroots outreach program allows me to engage with young people across the constituency, sharing the NDC’s values and ideals as embodied by President John Mahama and our Parliamentary candidate Obaapa Tina. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire and mobilize the youth to become active participants in shaping their communities’ future.

These initiatives demonstrate the NDC’s unwavering commitment to empowering Ghana’s youth and promoting community development. By investing in skills training and youth engagement, we are building a stronger, more resilient foundation for Agona West’s future.

Under my leadership, the Agona West Youth Wing will continue to prioritize initiatives that uplift and empower our young people, fostering a brighter future for all.
