GCB Launches “Pa to Pa Promo” to Reward Loyal Customers With Trip to 2026 World Cup

GCB Bank has launched a new customer reward campaign, “GCB Pa to Pa Promo — Save & Win,” offering customers the extraordinary chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Black Stars live at the 2026 World Cup.

The promotion was officially unveiled on Monday, December 1, at the bank’s headquarters in Accra.

Speaking at the launch, the Executive Head of Retail Banking, Sina Kamagate, said the initiative forms part of the bank’s appreciation to customers who have supported the institution throughout its 72-year journey.

“This is GCB’s own small way of saying thank you to our customers, we have been sustained for decades by customers who bring in deposits, knowing that deposits are the lifeblood of banking. And in Ghana, one thing that unites all of us is soccer — so this is our way of rewarding them with an opportunity to enjoy the World Cup next year,” he said.

Mr. Kamagate explained that the promo encourages customers to cultivate a savings culture while earning valuable points. For every GH¢300 deposit, customers will earn one point, which increases their chances of winning monthly prizes and the ultimate World Cup trip.

He added that the campaign also targets customers with dormant accounts, urging them to reactivate their accounts under a “Sankofa-inspired” call.

“Some customers have not transacted with us for over six months. We are telling them to come back home. Every account reactivation also earns a point,” he noted.

The promo, which will run for five months, will feature monthly draws, with the top 10 participants rewarded with household appliances associated with the World Cup experience, including televisions, freezers, and cookers.

Beyond customer rewards, Mr. Kamagate highlighted GCB Bank’s longstanding commitment to sports. He revealed that the bank not only sponsors sports initiatives but also fields its own rugby team, with some players currently representing the national side.

He emphasized that the ‘Pa to Pa Promo’ ultimately reinforces the bank’s dedication to customer satisfaction.

“Our customers love to play, and when they play, they play hard. We are sponsoring them to go and enjoy our favorite national game — and all the goodies that come with it,” he added.

The promotion is open to all existing and new GCB customers nationwide.
