CS Associates Marks Kwame Preprah’s Birthday

The leadership and members of CS Associates are marking the birthday of one of their most distinguished figures, Kwame Preprah, affectionately known as “The Great Leader.” The occasion is being used to honour a man whose intellect, discipline, and lifelong dedication to leadership and national service have profoundly inspired many within and beyond the association.

On behalf of the entire membership, the President of CS Associates, Jeremiah Maclean Jnr. JM, extended warm felicitations, describing him as “a great asset whose depth of wisdom and clarity of purpose continue to shape generations within and beyond our fraternity.”

Kwame Preprah, known formally as Richard Kwame Peprah, is a distinguished Ghanaian statesman and economist who served as Minister of Mines and Energy, and later as Minister for Finance and Economic Planning under President Jerry John Rawlings. His leadership between 1995 and 2001 marked a pivotal era in Ghana’s fiscal and governance reforms.

As the Founder and Leader of CS Associates, Mr. Preprah has built a strong platform for mentorship, professional development, and civic responsibility. His influence continues to nurture a new generation of thinkers and public-spirited leaders.

Members of the association have described him as an extraordinary mentor, a man of depth and character whose influence has left a lasting impression on their personal and professional lives.

One of the members, Nii Odartey Blankson, reflected on his leadership with gratitude and admiration, noting that Mr. Preprah’s wisdom and kindness have shaped the paths of many within the group.
He said, “Happy Birthday to an incredible Great Leader! Your wisdom, kindness, and guidance have shaped so much of us today. I’m endlessly grateful for your presence in my life. May your year ahead be filled with health, joy, and every blessing you truly deserve.”

Another member, K.K. Sefar, described him as a man whose quiet strength and fatherly guidance continue to inspire all who look up to him.
He said, “To a man who has inspired me in countless ways — my father of few words. Your wisdom and guidance are gifts I will always cherish. I am forever grateful for the sacrifices you’ve made and the lessons you’ve taught me. Thank you for being the incredible father and mentor that you are, my favourite engineer and finance extraordinaire.”
