Asene Manso Akroso District to become cleanest district: DCE distributes 200 dustbins

The dustbins are aimed at easing unnecessary waste disposal in the district, and the DCE has urged all assembly members and residents to take proper care of the dustbins.

The DCE emphasized that cleanliness is next to godliness and stressed the need for residents to avoid indiscriminate waste disposal and keep their surroundings clean at all times.

A task force is being established to address sanitation challenges within the electoral area, and sanctions will be enforced against individuals who continue to litter.

This initiative is part of the district’s broader efforts to improve sanitation and waste management practices, which include the construction of modern toilet facilities, distribution of refuse containers, and assessment of mechanized boreholes in communities.

Hon. Yaw Antwi Boasiako, Assembly Member for Dadieso Aba electoral area, expressed gratitude for the initiative, saying it lays a strong foundation for environmental cleanliness in the district.
