GCB Executive Head hails customers as bank launches ‘Pa to Pa’ world cup promo

The Executive Head of Retail Banking at GCB Bank, Sina Kamagate, has expressed his sincere gratitude to customers of the bank for their continuous loyalty and contribution to the institution’s growth.

He said the bank’s survival and strength over the past 72 years have been made possible because customers continue to trust GCB with their deposits, the lifeblood of banking.

Mr. Kamagate made the remarks during the official launch of the “GCB Pa to Pa Promo — Save & Win” held on Monday, December 1, at the bank’s headquarters in Accra.

The special promotion offers customers a unique opportunity to win an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Black Stars live at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He explained that the promo forms part of GCB’s commitment to give back to customers while encouraging a stronger savings culture.

Under the campaign, customers will earn one point for every GH¢300 deposited, while those with dormant accounts are being encouraged to “come back home” and reactivate their accounts each reactivation also earning a point.

The five-month promotion includes monthly draws in which the top 10 participants will walk away with prizes such as televisions, freezers, and cookers, essential items that enhance the World Cup experience.

Mr. Kamagate said football’s unifying power makes it the perfect backdrop for rewarding loyal customers.

He also highlighted GCB’s longstanding involvement in sports, noting that the bank has supported several disciplines over the years and even operates its own rugby team with players representing the national squad.

He added that GCB’s repeated victories at events such as the Citi Olympics and the Joy Games reflect the bank’s strong sporting culture.

Mr. Kamagate emphasised that the ultimate goal is to appreciate customers in a meaningful way.

“Our customers love to play, and when they play, they play hard. So we are supporting them to enjoy our favourite national game — and all the excitement that comes with it,” he said.
