Annual Festival of Asuo Paamu Kicks Off in Bibiani-Abofrem

The Annual Festival of Asuo Paamu is scheduled to take place from December 5th to December 7th in Bibiani-Abofrem, along the Tano Odumasi Road. The festival, a showcase of traditional Ghanaian culture, will feature activities across three days.
According to the authorities, events will unfold as follows:
- Friday, December 5th: Opening day.
- Saturday, December 6th: Activities run from morning till evening.
- Sunday, December 7th: Asante Nkae teaching and Akom.
The festival highlights the involvement of key traditional figures, including Okomfour Baffour Gyau and Bofofour Kwabena Ampamu, both featured on the promotional poster in traditional attire. A list of participants with “Nana” titles suggests a strong representation of local leadership and traditional roles in the festivities.
The Asuo Paamu Festival is anticipated to draw attendees to Bibiani-Abofrem for a celebration of local customs, traditional dress and community engagement.
