Amy Can Foundation Launches Anti-Drug Campaign Among Drivers in Akyem Kade

In a bid to curb road accidents and promote safe driving practices, the Amy Can Foundation has urged drivers in Akyem Kade to shun drugs and alcohol while driving. The foundation’s Founder, Madam Twumasi Amanda, led a symposium for drivers, okada, and prigia riders at Kade, highlighting the dangers of substance abuse on the roads.

Madam Amanda expressed concern that many drivers have become addicted to drugs and stimulants, leading to increased accidents on Ghana’s roads. She advised drivers to desist from such behavior, citing potential health implications and the risk of accidents.

The symposium aimed to educate drivers about the risks associated with driving under the influence and promote a culture of responsible driving. The Amy Can Foundation’s initiative is part of efforts to reduce road accidents and ensure safety for all road users.

Drivers were encouraged to prioritize their health and the safety of passengers by avoiding drugs and alcohol while driving. The foundation’s message has been welcomed by the community, with many calling for more such initiatives to promote road safety.
